18 January 2016, London – Gen10’s Commodity Manager software platform has delivered over 10x efficiency savings for a leading commodity trading and import company in just three weeks.

After a rigorous selection process, London-based Corrie MacColl Rubber Ltd, which trades in natural, synthetic rubber and latex, selected Gen10 who successfully implemented their cloud-based commodity trade and risk management (CTRM) platform, G10 Commodity Manager in just three weeks.

The project included data migration, real-time web services integration with their existing ERP system, configuration and training.

“Given that typical implementation timeframes for CTRM software solutions are minimally expressed in months as opposed to weeks, even for a green field commodity trading company, the more rapid the implementation, the more entry costs are minimized,” said Dr. Gary M. Vasey, Managing Partner of leading Industry analyst firm, Commodity Technology advisory LLC.

Heads of each of the trading, logistics and finance departments at Corrie MacColl & Son Ltd expressed some of the immediate benefits as including: improved usability, speed and accuracy of reporting, and streamlined control over their operations.

“Gen10’s Commodity Manager has been very easy to pick up and the support has been first rate.”

Richard Williamson, Gen10 CEO, said: “3 weeks is an industry record. I think it’s a combination of functionality, flexibility built into our underlying architecture plus the expertise and work ethic of our team that gets things done with minimal fuss and maximum value to our clients. The team at Corrie MacColl was 100% focused on improving performance and has fully embraced the technology.”
